Issue 1: Sticking Alt Button and Unreliable Operation The secondary (alt) activation button on my 89Sabers Windu Crystal lightsaber is sticking intermittently, which prevents it from registering presses reliably. When I press it, there's noticeable resistance or drag, and it doesn't always trigger the expected functions (e.g., switching modes, selecting sound fonts, or activating effects like force push). This makes the saber feel unresponsive during use, and I've had to apply extra force or wiggle it to get it to work, which risks damaging the internal plunger mechanism. The primary power button operates normally, so this seems isolated to the alt button assembly. Issue 2: Incomplete Sound Fonts and Persistent Reversion to Default Blue Blade Color The sound font programming on my saber appears incomplete or mismatched—the pre-installed fonts (including the Mace Windu-specific pack) default to a blue blade color and hum on startup, despite the hilt's design evoking Windu's signature purple Vaapad blade. While I can manually change the color to purple via button combos (e.g., holding alt + primary during ignition), the setting doesn't persist; it always reverts to blue every time I power down via the battery switch and restart. This suggests the Proffieboard's config file isn't saving changes properly, or the default preset is locked to blue without a dedicated purple font variant. Additionally, some expected Windu-era sounds (e.g., deeper hums or clash effects) feel absent or mismatched, making it less immersive. For a product over 600$ I expect perfection. The item shipped extremely fast but in hindsight I wish whomever quality controlled this item took more time. I've sent a message to customer care for a solution.

I am floored. Talk about screen ready and screen accurate!! I love that it came with the Mace Windu sound font installed!! This is my first 89 Saber from CCSabers and won't be the last. I already have ordered the Ani3 "Fallen Knight" and an RGB for my son!! CCSABERS is the best. If your on the fence, just break the fence already and buy you won't be disappointed!!

Product is well fabricated my only criticism is that the person I gifted it to reported that the left side button (on and off) does not work properly

Let's starts by the positive: it's BEAUTIFUL and feels fantastic in hands. The purple of the blade is nice (even if pinky, still nice). And the Stand with the "Mace Windu" written on it is great!

unfortunately, there aez few conception defaults.The crystal chamber is difficult to access and it's easy to harm the rubber while trying to access it. The crystal is tiny and does not really seem legit.

The kill switch should be on the other side (it's a pain to remove the chassis each time you want to turn the saber ON). Also, there are many parts that are very very fragile: the black rubber parts on the handle are glued on the saber so they can drop very easily while handling the saber (1 dropped on my side at first manipulation... not acceptable for a 600$ saber), some golden rings on the pommel can twist way too easily aswell.

Also the saber fonts are weird. There is no glow effect. The choices are questionable : No Rey font (no yellow font overall), no Green Luke,... And a lot of strange fonts (one that is pink and yellow, one that is rainbow, another one red & white?!..). You can configure and change the colour but still I would have appreciated better fonts.

Finally the sound is loud which is great, but sizzling at some point.

To Conclude, this saber is beautifull like hell but but has several conception defaults. Average it's a 7/10 as it costs more than 550 dollars
